As a founding partner, Bernardo Fort-Brescia has helped lead Arquitectonica for over four decades. During this time, Bernardo Fort-Brescia has overseen numerous projects in the United States and abroad, and assisted the firm in earning multiple architectural awards.
Under his tenure, the company has focused on sustainability alongside ensuring that a site retains its character post-construction. The company has also expanded to have offices in nine cities and developed projects in 59 countries.
Throughout this time, Mr. Fort-Brescia has been a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), where he is a fellow and Interior Design Hall of Famer. Since becoming a member of the organization, he has earned the AIA Silver Medal for Design Excellence and the AIA Florida Honor for Design Award.
Bernardo Fort-Brescia has also given multiple lectures and served on several jury panels during his career. In 2020, he presented “Global Urban Design and Miami 2020” to the University of Miami Real Estate Impact Conference.
